Joy

Joy is a fruit of the Spirit that gives inner peace and contentment that does not rely on outward situations being agreeable.

Joy does not come from favorable circumstances, but instead by knowing one’s heart is right with God and is at peace with his Maker.

“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” John 15:10-11
